As you are likely aware, the candidacy of Ron "Low-Tax" Reinagel was defeated by a very slim margin on November 4, 2008. This translates to even higher property taxes as the incumbent Assessor knows no real mark value (except increases). According to Zillow.com, Pinal homes have decreased by over 25% in the last quarter.
Perhaps when you receive your value notices in March 2009, a recall election would be in order. It may be the only recourse before even more Pinal County Homeowners lose their homes to increased payments caused by excessive property taxes.
